S03 Negotiations

England reaches out to tell me that we’re good friends now.

I just don’t trust England at all. Italy reaches out and wants an Italian, Russian, French alliance. Italy’s press is so long I don’t want to quote it, but to sum it up, he thinks we would be good friends, and he wants me to move to Iri or Nao and convoy to Liverpool. I’m lukewarm on that idea right now because, as part of that, he wants to take Spain. So, I push Italy to try and take Mao.

Italy responds that he doesn’t want to bounce in Mar because he’s going to move it to Tyrolia. OK, but importantly, he doesn’t say anything about what he will do with his fleet in the Western Med. Meanwhile, it was curious why Italy would move to Tyrolia. Austria sends press to England and myself, and adds some context.

Meanwhile, Italy and I come up with a plan for the Western Med.

I go to bed waiting to see how the orders will shake out in the morning.
