So, because I felt I owed Italy, and because Italy agreed to support Iri, I build an army in Marseilles. Italy is desperate for it to save Venice, and I told him I would move it there. Italy writes me super long press, essentially urging me to make up with England, so he can lock down the Med. My position is somewhat weak against England, and he made some good points, the best of which was essentially, “we have to all work together to stop the AR.”

Germany gives me a status update on his end.

Italy then calls me, and says he has England’s number, and he wants England and me to patch it up. He announced to me that he intends to move Mao-West. I told him that moving Mao-West will induce England to move to Mao if Italy announced to England this is what he was doing. Even though Italy told me he did not tell England this, I sensed that he did. Italy then patched England on the phone. Italy gives proposed moves, which if they worked, would mean I would lose Lvp, and England would only get one disband, and Italy would lock up the south. Italy said he was making these moves. I told everyone I needed to think about it.

I then speak to England separately. We reach an agreement that I would move Lvp-Wales, allow the army to be disbanded, and would move to Iri. I asked him if he was going to mess with me and move to Mao, and he said no, and I said okay. I thought there was a 50/50 chance he was telling the truth, but I had zero options given that Italy already announced his intention to move to the Western Med. I told Italy and he was happy. I was much more pessimistic.
